To Reunite Or To Not Reunite The Shield

Yes, that is the question, To Reunite Or To Not Reunite The Shield! Before I get started I would just like to say Thank You for taking the time out to reading this post. I give my opinions & thoughts on whether WWE should or should not reunite one of the most dangerous factions of all time, The Shield! Let me jog your memory incase you might have forgotten!

Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins & Roman Reigns (Then known as the Shield) debuted at the Survivor Series 2012 PPV by attacking & destroying Ryback in attempt on becoming the WWE Champion! Their purpose was to rally against injustice. They claimed to not be working with then WWE superstar CM Punk & Advocate Paul Heyman, but over the course of weeks they would attack enemies of CM Punk. Basically the Shield kicking the holy hell out of everyone, even the Legendary Undertaker (How dare they?!) These three men would just continue to dominate everyone in the WWE. They even eventually were able to win some Championships!

At Extreme Rules in 2013, Ambrose wins the United States Championship by defeating Kofi Kingston & then later on in the night Reigns & Rollins defeated Team Hell No (Kane & Daniel Bryan) to win the WWE Tag Team Championships! They would continue to dominate until there were some cracks within the Shield. This was due to Ambrose still having his United States Championship while Reigns & Rollins didn't have their Tag Team titles. Fast forward to 2014 the Shield would go onto facing the Wyatt Family, in a losing effort but was described as a great match! Now the more interesting storyline begins.

The Shield turned face after Kane wanted them to attack Jerry "The King" Lawler, instead the Shield attacking Kane thus turning all 3 men faces! At WrestleMania 30, it was Kane & the New Age Outlaws (Old Age outlaws to be honest) versus the Shield & quickly the Shield defeated the 3. Kane later reveals that Triple H was the one who planned out Kane & the NAO to attack the Shield. Some time later we saw Evolution reuniting & they had a match against the Shield at Extreme Rules which Evolution lost. Then got a rematch at Payback which once again, Evolution lost. The Shield remained unstoppable...Until there was a Plan B!

This shocked MOST if not ALL in attendance & those watching worldwide. Yes, Plan B was Seth Rollins attacking Roman Reigns & Dean Ambrose. Nobody saw it coming which is why it was great! Rollins aligned himself with the stable/faction known as the Authority!

All three members of the Shield have had much success since the Shield's been disbanded. Rollins "The future of the WWE" has won the Money in the Bank ladder match, Dean Ambrose had a big feud with his former partner Seth for quite some time in 2014, & Roman Reigns was feuding with Randy Orton to eventually winning the Royal Rumble match to having a rather decent feud with then WWE Champion Brock Lesnar! Lets fast forward up until now, 2015.

What a moment, & I love this picture! Seth Rollins cashing in Money in the Bank & becoming the WWE World Heavyweight Champion at WrestleMania 31 by pinning Roman Reigns. All 3 members have had success without being united as the Shield. At Payback, they teased a little Shield reunion by all 3 former members of the Shield triple powerbombing Randy Orton threw a table. Now whats on everyone's mind is To Reunite Or To Not Reunite The Shield?

Never say never because ANYTHING can happen in the WWE. Do most people want to see the Shield reunite? That answer is easily, YES. Because the Shield were dominant! Destroyed everyone left & right. They had an undefeated streak for quite some time. Do I want the Shield back? No. Why? Because I feel all 3 former members have been doing great things since disbanding the Shield. Seth Rollins has won Money in the Bank to winning the WWE World Heavyweight Championship! Dean Ambrose has been struggling to win matches, however lets be honest here. The guy is super over whether he wins matches or loses matches. Now he's in a feud with Seth Rollins. He could potentially be winning the WWE World Heavyweight Championship this Sunday if not the foreseeable future. The guy is talented & I have him winning the Championship no later than this time 2016!

And Roman Reigns, the Golden Boy (Taken from Seth's promo when he had that in-ring interview with Michael Cole) he's had success as well. In a feud with Randy Orton to winning the Royal Rumble, to having a rather decent feud with Brock Lesnar. The fact is all 3 men are the future. They do not need to reunite to achieve success! They can reunite at any time, but I don't want it happening.

That wraps this post up. I hope you all enjoyed, thank you so much for reading & i'll catch you guys next time!

When will Cody Rhodes get a Push?

Hello, i'd like to take this time to say Thank You for reading in advance. Now before I get started everyone on Twitter knows I love this particular superstar who i'm going to be talking about & his name is Cody Rhodes! I'm not going to talk about where Cody comes from, his family, none of that. Trust me. This post is all about When will Cody Rhodes get a Push?

Ok so Cody Rhodes made his Raw debut in a backstage segment with his father Dusty Rhodes & Randy Orton back in 2007. At the time Orton was one of the best heels, he disrespected Dusty by slapping him in his face. Cody wanted to attack him, we all know it. Few weeks later Rhodes made his debut match & lost. No surprise, he was facing one of the very best in the company. Cody asked for a rematch & lost again. No biggie, facing Orton was a privilege! Enough of that, lets get into a more bigger storyline shall we?

Fast forward just a little into his career & he wins the World Tag Team Championships with a pro known as Hardcore Holly on the December 10th edition of Monday Night Raw! Yay, Cody gets a little push. Sooner or later Ted Dibiase makes his debut. Interesting!

Plot twist! At Night of Champions Cody Rhodes & Hardcore Holly face Ted Dibiase & a mystery opponent later revealing to be Rhodes himself. That's right, Cody layed out Holly & aligned himself with Ted Dibiase to become the World Tag Team Champions thus turning Cody Rhodes heel for the 1st time in his WWE career. Finally, he'll get a bigger push from here on out! Next introducing, Legacy!

I'm going to skip most of this. Legacy was a stable with Randy Orton being the leader (As I call it) a mentor to both Dibiase & Rhodes. Fast forward, Orton eventually turns on them leading to a Triple threat match at WrestleMania 26 which Orton won.

Now Cody Rhodes get a gimmick! Known as "Dashing" Cody Rhodes! He used to give tips on how to be; DASHING! Pretty good gimmick in my opinion. He got fans to hate him, calling them fat & ugly. He got heel heat because of it which was great! Then he became a pro on NXT & his rookie was Husky Harris now known as Bray Wyatt! Cody then won the WWE Tag Team Championships with former WWE superstar Drew McIntyre! Anywho fast forward to January 2011 edition of Smackdown, Cody Rhodes begin a feud with Rey Mysterio! Mysterio caught Rhodes with a knee & hit him hard! That's right, no more "Dashing" Cody Rhodes!

Cody comes back with a mask. My favorite gimmick of his. Later on defeats Mysterio at WrestleMania 27 which was where I thought Cody would get his big push (Which he did sorta). Rhodes ends up facing then WWE superstar Ezekiel Jackson & wins the Intercontinental Championship! (Yes, I was marking out). Eventually Cody gets into another feud with Randy Orton. Yes, these two work extremely well together! Which Orton ends up winning the feud, & Cody comes back without the mask. Lets fast foward to 2013!

Rhodes ends up teaming with Damien Sandow & they were known as the Rhodes Scholars. I thought eventually they could become the WWE Tag Team Champions, which sadly; they did not. Eventually at the Money in the Bank 2013 PPV, Cody & Damien competed in the Money in the Bank ladder match! I was fully expecting Cody Rhodes to win it. He seemed like a face in the match eventhough everyone in the match was a heel. Cody showed an amazing performance, was about to win until his own partner Damien Sandow threw him off the ladder & that's how Damien Sandow won the 2013 Money in the Bank ladder match thus dissolving the Rhodes Scholars as Cody turned face the following night attacking Sandow & eventually a feud between the two began until SummerSlam 2013 where Cody came out victorious!

Fast forward to some time now Cody lost his job during a small feud with the Authority (Which in my opinion the Shield versus Cody & Goldust was Match of the Night hands down) Anyways Cody & Goldust working as a team now known as The BrotherHood or the Rhodes Dynasty! Cody & Goldie look for Tag Team success as they did, Cody now being a 5x Tag Team Champion at the time. The team eventually got frustrated & here we are today.

Cody debuts a new character in 2014 called "Stardust". Eventually Goldust & Stardust become Tag Team Champions making Cody a 6x Tag Team Champion!! The two eventually dissolve & Stardust does his own thing, as Stardust! This is what's frustrating me. Cody is an amazing superstar. Highly underrated for sure. He has all the tools. Mic skills, Charisma (Not his dads), the Wrestling. He has it all. Where & when will his big push come?

I like this picture because in my eyes, Cody Rhodes is ready for a Main Event push! It can only happen if he's himself. He was red hot during his feud with Sandow. The guy deserves a big push & I hope it happens sooner rather than later. Cody's turning 30 this year. He's still young & I just hope one day he'll finally get his big push!

That about wraps this post of When will Cody Rhodes get a push? Let me know what you guys think. Feedback whether negative or positive is appreciated. Thank you for reading!
